We’re looking for the best Didsbury photos that you’ve taken over the 2009 Christmas and New Year period to show on the Fetch Didsbury site. In return we’ll give you credit by name and the option of a link to a web page of your choice* to say thanks.
The aim is to come up with a lovely collage of Didsbury based images which cover the events and goings on in Didsbury for December 2009.
Here is just a taster of what we have so far:
Due to bridge repairs, Wilmslow Road will be closed Eastbound (Didsbury Village to Kingsway direction) for 12 weekends starting from Friday the 8th January and ending the 26th March.
A diversion will be in place via Parrs Wood Road and School Lane between 8pm Friday night and 6am Monday morning.
Wilmslow Road will be open from Kingsway to Didsbury Village (West) for traffic at all times.
Until the 31st of January 2010 Felicini Didsbury are offering a whopping 25% discount on your food bill when you visit their restaurant.

Laura Coleman Flowers are running a Christmas Flower Workshop on Saturday 12 December upstairs at the Pitcher & Piano Didsbury from 9.30am until 12noon.
Armed with plenty of blue spruce, baubles, flowers and candles (and a nice hot cup of tea) they’ll teach you to create your very own Christmas centrepiece that will wow your guests!

Didsbury’s monthly comedy night steps up a gear next week when it plays host to two of the circuits funniest men both making their Didsbury debuts;
For the last three decades Ian Cognito has been an undecorated hero of the British comedy frontline. Never been on the telly, never done an advert (although he would for Guinness, if they let him write it himself) ‘Cogs’ remains a true original.
