Didsbury Lanes Residents’ Association Halloween Fun Day

On Saturday 31st October 2009 the Didsbury Lanes Residents’ Association are putting on a Halloween Fun Day which will run from 3pm to 10pm at the public area at the end of Crossway ( link to directions from Didsbury School Lane Junction )

Didsbury Lanes is the area bounded by Wilmslow Road, Barlow Moor road and Dene Road and all those who live or work in the Didsbury Lanes area are welcome to attend and bring a couple of friends.

Vintage and Craft Fair Barlow Moor Road Didsbury

Kennedy & McCall will be hosting the first Didsbury Vintage & Craft Fair on Saturday 31 October 2009 from 10am to 4pm.

The specialist fair will host a fabulous variety of stalls selling vintage fashion, accessories and homewares from 1920 – 1989, at retro, recession-busting prices. The event also welcomes Manchester based craftsters, selling exclusive one-off crafts and gifts at unrivalled rates.

Fairgoers can browse stalls, try on outfits and meet with friends over a cup of tea, slice of cake and a chinwag in the vintage café. The fair takes place at Emmanuel Hall, behind Didsbury Library on Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury Village M20 6TR. Entrance is £2 per person and children under 12 go free.

Halloween at The Albert Club West Didsbury

The Albert Club in West Didsbury are having a Halloween Party a day before Halloween on Friday the 30th October starting at 9pm.

The event will include food, spooky beats (music) and prizes for the best fancy dress.

Children, 10 and under 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Adults can stay and enjoy themselves until 2am

The Albert Club team are also promising a Shocking Surprise on the stroke of Midnight that will ensure fun for all into the early hours.

The evening is free for members and friends so head down and get yourself an annual membership.

The Albert club also have a bonfire party on 5th November with Firework and food TBC.
