Reserve, one of Manchester’s finest independent wine merchants is holding it’s Annual Summer Wine Fair at The Northern Tennis Club on Wednesday 8th July.
The event, now in it’s 6th year will be offering a selection of over 70 wines for you to taste, along with a wine related games room for your entertainment. There will be 18 tables displaying different types of wine, with each table being manned by a wine expert to answer any questions you have.

After three weeks of being closed due to ‘The Didsbury Hole‘ Barlow Moor Road is finally open. Manchester City Council have put in some serious work recently to dig the hole back out, fill it will hug concrete pipes, fill it back in and cover it with lovely fresh tarmac and double yellow lines.
The Manchester Evening news have printed a more than dubious article with photo about a road collapse in the same location in 1914. You can take the story with a large pinch of salt. Barlow Moor Road maybe, but certainly not in the same place.
The road was still quiet this morning as many commuters have yet to realise that the road is now open again. Let’s hope this is the last we hear about ‘The Didsbury Hole’.
