New Care Group For Didsbury Needs Volunteers

St. Vincents Housing Association are looking for volunteers to be part of a new Didsbury Care Group to help older people with transport, a visiting service and drop in facility.

Please get in touch with them if you can help out or would like to be part of a management committee.

Gas Meter Thefts in Didsbury Including Refresh Deli

If you have an external gas meter you might want to keep your eye on it.

Refresh Deli in Didsbury called the police in November when they found their gas meter had been ripped from the wall and were told of another 10 calls about other gas meters disappearing on the same day.

To report a gas leak or anyone tampering with a gas supply call the National Grid’s emergency number on 0800 111 999
